Well I am tired.

I am so stinkin tired. We have already had relatives up here for a pre-christmas thingy and even though they were only here for one night, I am really tired. But I had to say Merry Christmas because I probably won't post until after Christmas. Ttfn!

Hunger Games Dress

So, I went up to our attic, because me mom has beautiful fabrics she never used. I found one a few months ago that reminded me of Katniss's dress from the interviews at the hunger games. I made sort of a replica, but not really. I did not have a reference with me so I had to go off of my mind. So here's Katnisses from the movie:

The first is Nellie in a Liberty Jane free pattern and pinkiepinkgirl's no pattern bubble skirt from a YouTube tut. The second is McKenna in a gathered top from stephenswodadancer's gathered dress tutorial on Youtube and pinkiepinkgirl's tutorial for maxi skirt on Youtube. Thanks!! I thought these were cute. Bubble skirts are my specialty.

Idea for American Girl

So I had an idea only apparently you are not allowed to email product suggestions so that gets me nowhere. :( In 2014, they will have released 12 GOTYs. (Girl of the Years) So, they should make a mini doll for each one. For example, in January, Lindsey. February, Kailey and so on and so forth. Please comment on this idea. McKenna agrees with me... It would be a JLY doll for her!

My Trip to AGP Natick, Mass.

Craft #1

I have no pictures yet, but an idea would be doll nail polish. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PAINTING YOUR DOLLS NAILS. 1. Gather materials: 1 Toothpick per "bottle" A few beads- black pony beads for the cover, square beads for the bottle. Make sure the square bead is a little larger than the pony beads. 2. Take glue and put a little on the toothpick. Slide the square bead down it. 3. Add glue to the pony beads. Slide them on. 4. Let dry and trim any remaining toothpick. AND YOU'RE DONE!!!!
